Another year, another Glasto

This year to further combat touting you have to pre-register your details and a photo so that that photo may be printed on your ticket. This can be done with a form at millets or easier online here: http://www.glastonburyregistration.com/

Before anyone asks there's no advantage to registering early or late, just everyone will then get access to the ticket sales site when it opens on April 1st, which will then be on a first come, first serve basis. So photoshop your picure up and get registered

How many tickets are you allowed to buy once you register? I take it they dont need photos of everyone your buying tickets for?

I'm guessing you'll get a seperate reference number for each person which you'd enter at checkout. And if previous years are to go by, 2 tickets per person.

Hmm I live 20 mins away from Glasto and have never been- guess I should head along this year... Can always pop back for a shower if I gets too cold/ muddy

I heard either U2 or Coldplay are going to make an appearance. (as apparently the 'biggest band in the world' will be playing This could turn out to be Take That though ) They're talking about it a bit on some of the local stations down here so will have a listen.

the lineup is kept v secret normally so wouldn't expect too much. it'll be rumours until about 1st June

The above list (from efestivals.co.uk) was about 90% last few times as I recall - its pretty solid and they dont just put any toss up there.

I'd imagine he works there - which to me is missing the point of going to the festival entirely but there you go. Certainly not worth the price of a ticket to do all that work in the baking sun!
