I’m on 1440pHave you tried turning down your Frame Scaling mode? 2.5 is pretty high
No idea what your resolution is to start with. But if you start with 4k then, more than, doubling the resolution....

Yeah something is not right there.
These are my 1080 settings and I get rock solid 60 in all areas, you should be doing the same in 1440 at a lot higher detail.
I would start with turning down Frame scaling and use MSAA instead. I find it works for me.

Thanks, It was that frame scaling thingy. Once I switched it off, I jumped to around 70-80fps maxed out. Runs a treat now.

What is going on with my setup. Look at these settings and then look at my sig rig. Surely I should be getting more than 25-30fps?
130fps there according to AB, unless im missing something

how long is it taking you to get into online play?
from hitting the play button on Steam to getting into online it takes me 4 minutes
thats loading from an SSD as well...
the rest of my system is pretty old though, i7 920 @ 3.2ghz with 7950 gfx, 6gb Ram..

Well the new R* Launcher has added a min since that went live as steam has to open that. Also first time going online always takes longer. I Find it’s much quicker to start from SP with the landing screen turned off. Then head in from there.
I've been ranking up quite nicely since the up date with the Peyote plants,
eat one every 48* minutes (irl) and get 5,000rp,
gone from rank 50 to 85 in the last 2 weeks without doing many missions
sometimes ive just logged in, ate a plant, logged out.. is that cheating?
*everywhere in the Inet says they respawn every 48 minutes (irl) but ive had them spawn less than that at times,
UPDATE: 14/11

looks like they were only here for 2 weeks,
oh well, at least i made hay while the sun was shining

Thats awesome. I cashed in 8 million before they fixed the Poker so Might go back to slots at some point.

The original Heists are all double cash and RP this week. $900K an hour with a good team.

Yeah they patched it and adjusted people's accounts pretty swiftly as it was massively abused by the community. Mostly by people going AFK and using macros both on PC and PS4.
However Poker one was not. I used to play 1 hand when I entered session on both upstairs and downstairs, the majority of time I won. So made at least 10 million. However a month or so ago they changed it so pretty much always lose now.
It just shows that they look at the financial side rather than fixing the real issues like the CTD that the Casino update introduced.
Playing RDR2 at the moment giving it a miss.
i've not had that for maybe a month or more now, it used to be a PITA!
Well I have had a couple of days back playing and for a change it’s has not crashed. They have also put back the poker to how it was as I am making money again. Play 1 game in my penthouse. Fold on less than ace high and mostly win. I currently have 850k which is about about 600k is winnings.
Rockstar have teased a new Heist based on the diamond Casino.
They also sent a text in game that made absolute sense if you have completed the Casino missions. Hopefully Vincent will get his job back.
I am sure we will find out over the next few days with a trailer.
Got to admit, would be very happy if they brought in a new heist but also worried by all the chatter about a new free roam mode in order for it to work.
