From hearing Alrik/Bevy saying about 'betrayal' etc and being kicked I couldn't help it.

If Alrik has grown up with Halo I can see why he is such an angry man. :p

I find it highly amusing that reading his posts, I can hear his voice in my head getting all angry and shouting all sorts of obscenities.

Extremely irritating getting booted at the end of a game because you TK someone accidentally.

I had an awesome game yesterday on an outdoors map, I step into the tank, kill a ghost flying by me really fast but I caught a teammate in the explosion. Idiot booted me, despite the circumstances.

This IMO is going to ruin MP, the last thing the already irritating and anonymous online word needs is morons with power.

It'll do a hell of a lot more good than harm to be honest. We need these measures after nearly five years of horrible players online.
 
Yes because its going to force all the genuinely good players to quit or stop playing due to being kicked by idiots for what is an inevitable part of the game.

I don't make a habit of TK'ing and while I'm not that good at Halo, many of you know I used to lead one of the top CS teams in the world, so its not like I don't know how to play and am taking that out on my own team.

I see your point and I'm being somewhat melodramatic here but you can't deny, this IS an issue and is infuriating that you lose all the points from that game, just because someone wants to exact 'justice' for a natural part of the game.

I'll only ever kick someone if they repeatedly TK me and its blatant. If I die in a huge grenade chain reaction or a rocket launcher aimed at the guy I'm fighting, then I'm sure as hell not going to boot him just so I can feel 'important'.
 
Yes, it can have some pitfalls, but I'm willing to put up with it. It's collateral damage for the bigger picture overall of a much more decent online community compared to 2 and 3. Deal with it.
 
enjoying single player so far - nice to have some lush environments for a change

graphics, in particular weapon effects seem to be much more glossy and colourful vs Halo 3

frame rates aren't great though :(
 
Just completed the campaign on Heroic co-op with best mate via system link.

Oddly, the game says it took me 06:18 to complete yet my mate 05:02 so have no idea how its managing that as we played it together completely. Still, very good, liked the ending tying in with Halo CE.

To me this game shows that a team like Bungie need a next gen console to truly create there vision, the game looked very nice and the sense of scale was incredible at certain points but the framerate really couldn't keep up which is a shame, as I said in an earlier post its never unplayable but a few occasions it does get REALLY jerky which was disappointing.

Now for Firefight and multiplayer :D

Me bevvy and alrik had a go this morning and i'm really enjoying it so far. Makes a change from MW2.

Will probably still buy Medal Of Honour / COD Black Ops however.
 
holy crap, i just got into some spaceship and zoomed off into space :P... now doing crazy moves in space, taking out banshees etc. Didn't expect a sudden change in gamplay.
 
OK, so saint and I gave it another go tonight and sitting a bit further away the graphics didn't seem that bad, we had bags of fun, just like the old days, though I think my raging has got worse! Will be playing a lot more.

In other news I was bored so I made a guide on how to make Halo Reach panoramas:

I think i got jake into this aswell :)

Couldnt believe it joined a party of mates and somehow went 13-0 on team slayer and was gutted when i realised i didnt have harrier, pavelow then ac130 on.
