I did that with the first one. Something made me pick it up again earlier this year and it now stands proudly as my one and only platinum trophy :D
Absolutely awesome game.

Tried 2 immediately after one and couldn't get used to differences. It just felt totally different. Will go back it before Second Son though, as the general consensus seems to be it's as food if not better than the first one.
 
Is this expected to follow from the Infamous universe? Just realised I never finished I2 so Ill need to before Feb/March. Man new IP makes my life easier :p

Yeah it's set some time after 2, however I'm not quite sure how considering there are two different endings to 2

7 years after inFamous 2 and the 'good' ending of that game is considered canon, 'bad' ending is merely a 'what if' scenario. I won't put spoilers in here as there seems to be quite a few who haven't finished the 2nd game but I really enjoyed the bad ending, it was an interesting concept with quite a bit of irony about it. The good ending for the sake of storyline purposes probably was the better option though as it tied up more stuff I felt. Absolutely love this franchise, have the collector's edition pre-ordered for Second Son.
