Yeah I had to do the same in the end. A bit shocking the customer has to chase it up, I bet there hoping people forget and stick with the full price pre-order.

Even more annoying is that I sent my trade in game on Friday and haven't heard anything from them about it. I've had to email them asking what's going on :mad:

Just had an email from Gamestop saying trade and save has been accepted and I'll only pay £14.97 for this game :D

Looking at how quickly you can play through the last two it definitely looks like this is at minimum 10hrs if the devs say this is longer than the other 2 (and that length is story/required)...

I watched some of the stream. Are people just assuming the game is 3 hours long as that's what the stream length was?

They were also talking to the devs and they said there is certain powers they have not yet revealed in any gameplay, so I think it's fair to say they were playing a particular section and/or demo version.

I think someone said that the game was played completely through in the stream (story only) and from there the rumor train kept 'a rollin' :p
 
Think I'm gonna get this from the US PSN store. $60/£37 seems decent for a digital dl. Can't find it any cheaper currently.

There are a lot of sheep about!

During the stream they actually only played a very small bit of the game.
They went through the same small area playing as good and then as evil.

Just proves how stupid people are. Anybody with an ounce of intelligence would have known they didn't play the whole game. For one thing we didn't see the intro or the ending :rolleyes:
 
Think Im gonna cancel my pre-order and wait for the SE to go down to a reasonable price - really want the DLC but not at £60. Im in no real rush when I play it considering Im only just finishing the second and hey Im not a fan of the near-launch game prices anyway! Think Im mad?

Nope totally sane, I grudge paying £50 for a game these days and no way would I pay £60 for extra DLC.

Saying that im still going to get the normal version on release :p

Got really excited thinking this was out tomorrow.. :D

Then realised I'm a week early :(

Oh well going to trade in Ass Creed IV when I get Infamous so I suppose I could actually finish it first (got a bit bored of it). Although very tempted by MGS Ground Zeroes..

I feel the same way. This was the game that I was always going to get the console for and now that stock availablity seems to have settled down I could just walk into a local Argos and buy one. Those game prices though are putting me off. I love Infamous but yeah I've decided to hold off until Destiny or even next year. I'll go second hand for the games I've missed.

Meanwhile PSN deals and PS+ are keeping me happy enough.

GC: I see things like the new Batman game and it looks good, but I wish it was more interesting artistically. Like, if only they could get away from their current dudebro version of Batman and do something that looked like The Animated Series or one of the actual comics or something…

I'm sure the DLC will come out later. Has there been any PS3/360 game that had a bonus DLC that was not later offered on it's own (apart from the odd costume/skin)?

However, I like inFamous a lot so will try to get the DLC on release. Would I get it if I bought digitally?
