I'm enjoying myself to be honest. Funnily enough the Beyond Two Souls thread was bumped, you loved that and claim infamous is repetitive and crap?

If you broke down the first game they were much the same. Just because it's on a new console doesn't mean it will be rich in new ideas.
 
Just started this late last night after being determined to get the Platinum trophy for Need For Speed: Rivals first.

First impresssions are very positive... and it looks beautiful ;)
 
I wish they had done more with this game but considering it's the first main release - except tomb raider - since the launch line up I guess Sony were out to showcase what the console can do. The visuals are very impressive at first look but looking deeper it lacks the finer detail and the game world lacks depth.

If they set out to make Infamous "next gen HD 1080p" then they succeeded and the fans will be happy but the game didn't bring anything new which I was hoping for. I found the game became quite repetitive. IMO it's not worthy of full price, wait for it to drop to at least £20 and pick it up 2nd hand.
 
Loving this game such a breath of fresh air from playing bf4.


Is it possible to go prone behind objects to dodge bullets? Or is it a case of using smoke dash to get out of the way of attacks.

I'm still early in the game.

I just use smoke dash, I don't think you can go prone and don't recall being able to in infamous either.
 
Got this on digital download and had it waiting for me last night when i got home from work. Decided before I started playing that I would go evil after being good in Infamous 1&2 and Delsin seems to be a proper selfish douchecanoe!

I like it.

Glad your enjoying it. People have different opinions of games I really enjoyed beyond but again that's my opinion.

I expected a bit more from infamous being a next gen game. The lack of environmental interaction bothers me the guy has no shadow or reflection. To me it feels lazy but again my opinion.

Just get shot of it then, no point playing games you don't enjoy. I think it's been decent so far, not blown away but its very good.
