**** Official Infamous: Second Son ****

Played the intro for this last night but ended up going to bed early as I was shattered. As with MGS the graphics are top notch and if they look this good now imagine in a few years how good they will be. I'm not going to give a verdict now but from what I've played it has impressed me so far. I've not played the previous games so I can understand why some people may feel it's not changed but that's not an issue for me. :)

It's the little things like this that really bug me and stopping me from getting it (sound silly I know) it lets down what looks like a good game and one that I've been waiting for since the reveal, but there's no excuse for it this gen at all it's just downright laziness (or maybe sony didn't want another game delayed?)

He does but only from certain light sources.
 
just started this this morning, some of the animation is getting on my nut, especially the whole crouch and going slow when jumping, i suppose when i get more powers it will be less noticable.

Oh and i accidentally found there is a save option. Does it autosave? As i am paranoid now lol
 
It does autosave but you can do a manual one as well. I'm playing on expert and got my ass kicked a fair few times. Cleared two districts so far.
 
Just bought this. With a load of games on the go already that might be a mistake, but I only have a small number of games for the PS4, and only KZ which is an exclusive so wanted to see what this is like.

Enjoyed the original, although found it to be a bit generic and paled in comparison to Crackdown but neverless enjoyable. Expecting the same of this.

Went digital for the convenience.

If you are unsure of getting a game then is digital not the wrong option?
 
I'm loving this game! I loved the first two and this is so good.. I'm taking my time with it, doing everything and soaking up the digital world.

It's by far the best looking next-gen game to date, the neon looks so good, superb lighting etc. if this is a taste of what's to come on PS4 then were in for a good time ahead.
 
Ive never played a Infamous before and im loving it, that said i've played 5 hours and im 25% through the game a little short i guess 20hrs ish all over i suspect but thats average these days but im still really really enjoying it its a breath of fresh air for me and the graphics and gameplay is really nice.
 
Come across a bugged checkpoint, I destroyed it but it shows on the map still and the shard has vanished. Managed to fix by simply fast travelling to another district and back again.

Im really enjoying it and hadnt really expected to as much, im finding it much more like Crackdown that previous infamous's which is a good thing.

Doubt it will have much replay value but its good.

Not unsure. I'll enjoy the game and I want to play it.

Just that I'm balancing a few games at the moment. Whilst my pile of shame is less than it was it doesn't stop me buying new games. My Steam list is horrendous.

I prefer digital where I can particularly where the price differential isn't huge.
