***Official Intel Haswell Thread***

Threw in 4x4GB of Vipers.
Ran 1600MHZ, all going well BSOD.

So it's the board that's knackered, wonderful.
The most annoying part given my loop :(.

I could get a new board in tomorrow, but someone doesn't have stock, guess I'll be RMA'ing the board and getting a VI Hero.

Ive just gone back a few pages but cant see the answer, what spec you got?

what board, ive had 3 faulty Asus boards and promised myself i wouldnt use them again, even the ROG matx boards are great.

4670K, Gigabyte X87 OC, 850W XFX PSU, 16GB ExcelRAM 1600MHZ (4x4GB)

If I run 1600MHZ, doesn't matter how much voltage I chuck, it'll just BSOD, but they'll run perfectly fine at 1066MHZ.

I switched out the CPU for another 4670K, same thing.
Switched out for a different 1600MHZ kit, same thing.

Thats odd as mine is stable as a rock, Ive used BIOS F5a, F5i and now B10

Could just be a one off I guess.
I meant Z87 OC, not X lol.
The one with the orange heatsinks.
I've tried all the BIOS's too :(

What's B10?

It is the Z77X-OC? there is only one (the OC force dont count as thats super expensive)

B10 is the BIOS 8 Pack told me to use, said its awesome for super PI.

Find it at Tweaktown Gigabyte latest BIOS section.

I just reset it completely to stock at BIOS, it's now managing 6.08.
That's still quite some way off.

I'm just going to RMA the board, I've already changed everything else lol.

I'm just surprised at the people having issues, the most notable seems to be Crucial Ballistix RAM and Gigabyte having a Barny together.

Yet the D3HP I got for my mates upgrade and my OC board are sound.

But the same cant be said for the two Richland APU's I have here, they don't like to run RAM faster than they have been validated with, annoying as the two Trinity APU's here are fine.

I'm surprised I'm having issues to be honest, first time I've ever had anything like it, and I've gone through some hardware lol.

Hopefully isn't too much hassle to get the board switched.

I just ran mine at stock to compare and got 6.23.
I'm using 16gigs of ram @1600 (mobo default)

One of my Haswell cores is a lot lower than the other 3. Anyone else getting this? One is sitting at 58, the others are between 65-70 (Prime 95'ing).

All idle around the same temp, only seems to happen under load.
