Happens to any of the clothes/gun shops if you kill the seller inside I believe. Ive seen it happen a few times whilst pratting about if free ride.
 
I've just finished this game and I thought it was really great to be honest. Perhaps a tiny bit short, which would be totally forgiven if you then had a free roam mode to play afterwards. Shocked that there isn't one! So weird when they've made such a large wonderful living city to drive around in etc. There could also be a bit more to do bar the main missions, perhaps some different lines to take or side missions to keep you amused a bit longer.

All those things could be added with a patch or DLC, why not?

The game has so much potential to be one of the best ever, but it falls short on some basic ideas that even Mafia 1 pulled off easily.

I thought the graphics were very good and it runs well on my spec, and the gameplay that was there wasn't bad at all, gunfights were a lot of fun I thought.
 
Jimmy is like freeride with some basic missions, not bad but not great either..they really should release normal free ride where you would be able to choose time of day, weather etc like in that mod

Joe Adventures look good it should be more story focused with some 7 hours of play time, cutscenes etc

i'm looking forward to this too though i'd like to know other dlc before i jump and buy this as i may wait for more to be out in say 6 months and then buy all in one bulk. just finished replaying mafia 2 again and there's some gaps in what joe does (particularly the ending) so presumably this'll fill those gaps
 
Sweet :cool: & I'd expect we'll see a proper ending to the game with the possibility for an opening to new chapters, well that's what I'm hoping for :).
 
a proper ending? i'm hoping to fill in the gaps they (i guess purposefully) left open with joe as there is a few points when joe advances, appears random places and we don't know why. I hope the dlc is of some length and have a good amount of chapters rather then just a quick play as joe. would be nice to play for around for the years that the main character (i forget his name) is in jail, and find out why joe held the gun up to him at the end

edit: just watched trailer and it looks good. will be getting this for xmas me thinks.

A proper ending?

Yeah well there wasn't one, seriously as if vito would have rolled quietly with that, no no no, I don't think so :D, so I'm hoping at the end of the game a turn of events happen, they did leave it open as a possibility imo, obviously the majority will be about filling in gaps of the story, but yeah I'm hoping for a solid ending also or a to be continued for MOAR quality DLC to add to this excellent but short lived game, it'd be silly to leave it as is, awesome game engine with stacks more possible potential.

I think it might be as long as the main game but with more action, this DLC is gonna delay me starting my mod hehe :p.
 
I am thinking more along the lines about why the mafia boss (cant remember his name) who was in the car with vito at the end said that joe wasn't part of the deal.

So that makes me think that joe did something involving/against him when vito was in prison.

i thought it was because vito saved the old man but joe didn't do anything. that was my take on it any way. with that said joe must have done something as at the end he had a gun to vito's head so will be interested to find out why
