***Official*** Metro 2033 benchmark leaderboard

I'm only managing 64fps. I think it's micro-stutter that is trashing the overall score. Either that or I seriously need to think about a CPU upgrade....but I mistakenly jumped the gun and bought a Crosshair V

Edit: This is for DX 11 normal - should have said..

Total Frames: 3828, Total Time: 59.53427 sec
Average Framerate: 64.40
Max. Framerate: 223.21 (Frame: 3798)
Min. Framerate: 10.97 (Frame: 6)

I think clocking your cpu will help you a lot as your max framerate seems low (if 188 is ever low ;)) considering the gpu's you have. I hit 238 fps with my 6990 @ 1000/1350.

Yeah I think you're right. With your 6990 getting 48 fps average (although at slightly higher clocks), I should probably be able to reach 65-68.

Ok, I'm game. Sorry Lunawolfy ;)

Dang it! Knew I couldn't hold onto it forever. I just wanna see my name up there on that leaderboard....

Trimmed some services and upped the clocks too 930/1860,2400 and got this:

Not quick fast enough but I've got a couple of ideas floating about, short of nipping to the shop for some LN2 ;)

Thought i'd done the DX10 one lol guess not :p

If you've got speedstep enabled in your bios, create a power profile in Windows with the cpu minimum and maximum set to 100%. That way the cpu speed will stay at maximum whilst running the benchmark. Made a couple of fps difference for me but then my cpu is slower. Might just be enough to get top spot :)

Bit drunk atm but i see some nice scores, i'll have another bash myself tomorrow and do a leaderboard update, think i am pretty much cpu limited tho atm.

Was going to put a DX11 Llano bench up, but there is no benchmark app in my installed folder.

I didn't take screen shots as I'm not likely to win the competion :) but my results are:-

Strange

Pushed a bit more but thats about it without trying to get a higher cpu clock

Just thought I'd have a fiddle around with the OC settings. First time I've overclocked a GPU.

Cannot hit above 100fps for 1650x1080

But managed fairly well at 1920x1080

Okay, okay - what have I done wrong? :)

EDIT: Re-done extreme just so i could beat my fellow 7970 ^_^
EDIT: Second edit, re-done the normal settings as well, not much change +2fps. CPU Bottleneck?
