*** Official NBA 2012/2013 season ***

Looking forward to the Western conference handing out a good beating to the Eastern team.

Nobody is stopping,

PG - CP3
SG - Kobe
SF - Durant
PF - Griffin
C - D12

Timberwolves taking the game to the Nuggets now, big 3s from JJ and Ridnour in the 4th, shame Love has got injured again though!

Great news :)

NBA is missing a trick with timings though. There's nothing stopping them having weekend games start earlier sO they can be televised for an audience.

At times I'm sure they don't want the fans.

Awesome win for the Wizards over the Thunder!! Pleased I tuned in for the final quarter now!! Back to the Cavs @ Bulls game.

Got a little worried early on but a strong win for the Bulls in the end. Daequan Cook might end up being a nice little signing for us, Marco has been great at 2 guard and RIP has been fine but I think with RIP on the bigger contract, 34 and injury prone, it could mean hes gona be on his way out.

Tbh the Bulls are doing much better than I thought they would be and Boozer has stepped up this year. It seems a little strange saying Boozers stepped up cos his overall numbers are down lol, but he seems to be more focused, not getting carried away so much and miss reading plays and getting more aggressive on offensive boards. Plus 12 double doubles in his last 18 game is pretty good along with 82 points in his last 3 games. Never thought I'd say it but I'm warming to him.

I give up, Lakers will not be making the finals. Not even getting into the play-off picture on current showing.

Now losing Gasol, Hill & Howard to injuries.

SIGH

LOL welcome to the world of the average NBA fan. It's gona be tough, another say 15/16 defeats in the next 49 games will leave you in a bad place. Normally to get out of the West your looking at 48 wins at least, which means there needs to be a run of around 33 wins and 16 losses from now until April just for even a remote chance, which TBH is more than doable.

:p

I was looking forward to beating you in the finals as well :p it's the Clips and Thunder who are the worries, Thunder especially with Ibaka now turning into a big time player as well. I don't know what's wrong with the Lakers, there's time to get it going but the West is tough and I can see them struggling to make the playoffs

@ rich, the Bulls are surprising me too. I was expecting them to hover around the .500 mark this year but they look solid for a play off bearth now. If they can keep up the solid D I can see them being a real challenge for the Knicks/Celtics.

I'm more worried about the Hawks and Indiana, they are very dangerous and dont have anything to prove and the underdogs are normally good at starting the playoffs strong.

As for the Celtics... if the Bucks keep up there Road form which is around .500 then they are gona be tough for any team to go to and I wouldnt count out the 76ers on picking up afew good runs so I dont think the Celtics are a dead sert to even make the Playoffs yet.

I'm still not sure what to make of the Knicks yet, they clearly have the power to beat any team in the NBA and give the best teams a good hiding but I'm not sure they have what it takes to lift there game for a Playoff run. Kinda like the Bulls in the past 2 years I guess, give everything during the regular season and leave nothing to sustain an improved performance during the playoffs.

D never seems to be a major problem for the Bulls, its the shot selection and finishing around the rim that lets us down but we are getting better at that.

Next 3 games are against Houston, San Antonio & OKC.

Without Gasol, Hill & Howard.. That's another 3 losses. To be honest the way the season has so far gone for us, I wouldn't be surprised if we made it to the play-offs. The 6th/7th/8th seeds are still up for grabs. Not that we would get by the likes of the Clippers, OKC or Spurs. More so not suffering from the humiliation of not being in the play-off picture with a $100M team.

Weird situation to be in, teams who miss out on the play-offs look forward to draft day. IF the Lakers miss out then they've got nothing to look forward to, they dealt all the draft picks they had to the Suns..

Lakers could possibly build like Miami did by attracting in good solid bench/rotation players in FA on lower than normal contracts based on the offer of being part of a championship team. Allen, Battier and you could even argue Miller would pick up a bit more elsewhere but they sacrifice some buck for glory.

Lakers could/should still make the playoffs as I cannot see the Rockets or Blazers keeping it up, however I can see the Nuggets and Wolves (dependant on injuries) bringing more to the table post All star.

At least the regular season will be interesting for you :p I'm bored ******** now that Miami have proven they will cake walk to number one seed again. Though I expect a couple of losses on the new road trip they are on, probably starting tonight against the Pacers (******* hate the Pacers, average team who try to bully their way up /spit)

HUH...??? You have NEVER been number 1 seed. The Heat have only finished 1st in the Eastern Conference 2 times in thier history, Once in '99 where they finished joint top with the Magic and they only managed 3rd overall seed for the playoffs and other time in '05 where they shared joint number 2 seed with the Suns behind the Spurs... You Heat fans have to stop dreaming :p :p :p

Lol im only being smug cos we have been overall number one seed for the past 2 seasons (last year shared with the Spurs).

Sorry I meant number one in East :p

I don't actually want no1 seed be ause it gives you a **** draw for the finals which Miami took advantage of last year :)
