How do you get to nether? I dont think ive ever been there

I have seen a thin black guy carrying blocks around though on the normal linktart server!

I hope adding an extra sign to your wall isn't classed as griefing :cool:
 
thats a huge wall! is that gold / glowstone in the floor?

How do you get that amount of clay to make bricks?

Ive only ever had about 4 clay

:D Once i started i couldn't stop building, it was a case of "oh i'll just get rid of this bit".... "oh things can attack me there i'll just patch that up" .... before i knew it i'd built a wall that went from portal to cieling and around on 3 sides

If i'd had time i'd have made the wall on the front as well with some proper steel doors and finished off the glowstone :p

- Glowstone in the floor

- They aren't bricks, but Netherrack (mined very easily in the nether).

On a side note, clay is much more common in recent versions so you'll get loads now (unless I get it all first!) :)

On the test server I made a nether home at the spawn but it would appear that it was destroyed, who did this and also they owe me 2 signs and some glowstone and soul sand
 
You can use logblock to find out who messed up your house.

I don't see any reason why we should be more tolerant of griefing on the test server than anywhere else so take the screenshot and post it up here.

Read the fine print young padawan! :D Also if it was the real server i'd have had 4 double crates full of cobble i could have used for the wall rather than netherrack to make it indestructible :p

There is a portal at spawn (got pretty purple liquid inside an obsidian archway) that makes horrible screaming noises...stand in the purple liquid and your screen will swirl (takes a few seconds of standing still) and your in the nether...

Sorry if some one has already answered this :p
