Hi All,

It is with regret that we have to announce that the server is now closed :(

I would like to say that I had a fantastic time on the server and made some good friends.

Direwolf20 1.7.10 Server is on 1.0.3 linktart.co.uk:55556 [please note the version number is found under the recommended tab on the FTB Launcher]


We currently have a Modded server and a Vanilla server running these can be both found [Here] Along with Details to join our mumble server

To join the server please join the site and follow [These Steps]

If you have never tried out Modded minecraft the learning curve can be steep but in this post i hope to cover the basics and get you up and running.

We currently run the FTB (Feed The Beast) Dierwolf20 pack which is currently based on Minecraft version 1.7.10. This can be found [Here]

Also an excellent source of information is the unofficial FTB Wiki which can be found [Here] and the mod section of the minecraft forum which can be found [Here]

Below are a few pictures of my build on the Mod server this is using the Sphax Texture pack which is available [Here]
If you wish to use this pack I recommend the x64 version as the x128 version requires more then 8GB of ram
Also available is the NP Smooth texture pack originally created by NuttyProt a regular on these very forums.
He has recently passed his pack over to another team who are doing a great job maintaining and keeping the pack up to date this pack is available from [Here]

Hi all - we have a new permissions based server purely test at the moment feel free to jump on and let me know what you can do on there - the FTB pack is Monster version 1.0.9 and the server ip is linktart.co.uk:22565

- no whitelist -

This is a pure test server with bukkit integration so it could be down or laggy or just not working right

Edit - now on 1.0.9 Monster

go to options > force update, also make sure you have latest java 64bit.

Also go back in to options set memory allocation to 2GB (it does not need anymore then this no matter what you read)

and enter this in "additional java parameters" in "advanced options" which is at the bottom of the options screen
-XX:MaxPermSize=256M

After that you should be golden :)
 
Hey all - just a quick update we are working on a mod server first which we hope to have finished soon and yes this will also have a working bukkit system for plugins etc.

The vanilla server will be the next port of call once we have finished with the mod server.

We do have plans for the vanilla server which we will be taking over but we will be doing this in the background so *may* require some mods on there as we plan on pushing the vanilla server alongside the mod server.

- no posting up "pick me's" as anyone doing that will not be considered.

Things will become more apparent closer to the time but in the meantime don't forget we do have a nice private mod server up and running with no banned items that if you want to jump on just let me know :)
 
Hello all

We now have a Monster server up and running there are a couple of things that need finishing on it but as far as we can tell the world and pack is set so feel free to jump on with the details below - No whitelist but an admin/mod will have to give you build permission currently

Linktart.co.uk:22565 pack is the FTB Monster 1.1.0
- once run go to Edit Mod pack and enable bloodmagic and Thumictinkerer along with your choice of map system.
Mystcraft is disabled by default on the server as we are now using multiverse (portals at spawn)

In other news check out the videos below for some details on the mods available in the pack and also check out the AE2 preview video.

The world as is will be kept and will be as is on the new version yes there will be a portal at spawn to go from world to world. An option would be to give players multi homes that way you dont have to keep traversing to get anywhere.

in regards the nether are there any builds there? I'm guessing it's running low on glowstone want a new one?
 
had a look can't see why its going down it's back up now jumped on checked the tree farm with the jungle tree next to it seems fine. No crash report and forge log doesn't shed any light - entity and tps counts both low. not sure why it's doing it.
