Is that one of the big ones? (P6040/1)
I don't like them much. They don't offer a points benefit over the smaller ones (in fact they're lower PPD than most) but take forever to finish - 16-20 hours on my i7 :(
 
yea P6040 , they take about 3 hours short of 3 days for me to complete if folded 24/7 and give me about 1000-1500ppd less that the smaller ones
 
What can you expect its AMD and its a dual, Will be looking for a quad on MM end of next mont, maybe even an X6 if one comes up for the right price
 
True, true. I hadn't realised how penalising they were on you guys without the top-end CPUs. Sorry to sound patronising, I don't mean it that way!
 
Dont worry I know you mean no offense. We all work towards a common goal by helping the project but some of us can afford to contribute a little more.
 
Running my 955 @ 3.8 will do a A3 in just under 9 hours give or take depending on the project and most give me around 2776 credit which works out about 6K PPD! :D

I'll be dumping a A3 in 2 hours :)

I wouldn't put it up on a pedestal like that, Folding is mostly just an excuse to spend money on shiny things :p
 
Mr TBag S'ah you have been stomped.

On a side note what are you folding on as you consistently drop a 251 point WU every other update
 
And.. JonJ is also stomped. But, I didn't really expect you to fight back as you said you've stopped.. for the moment.
