Theres a distinct lack of ocuk outfits although there are some options around. Lone wolfing is entirely possible once you know what youre doing, but yeah start on the basis that any help is good.

You join an outfit by pressing insert (i think) when you spawn in to the warpgate. Also in the menu there is an icon along the bottom (two heads) which will tell you what groups there are spaces for. You can then spawn on your leader I believe.

At a minimum, get killing. If youre not capturing or killing, youre just wasting time. Look for fights happening on the edge of your territory and at bigger installations and if the Crown is up, get there (Indar continent obviously). Use bikes / redeployment / instant action / mosquitos to move aorund the map.
 
Anyone got a link to some Good, recent footage at the highest settings?

Quite interested in this game but I've always been more interested in close up combat rather than large scale combat in vehicles.

Pretty much same as me. The game is so damn gorgeous and fun to play when the frame rate is solid, but as soon as a big fight kicks off it is like slow motion and close quarters fighting feels sluggish and sloppy. They really need to optimize this game, it is the only thing that could kill it.

Ive never had this problem been in some epic team fights aswell, one other day was at night with atleast 30-40 foot soldiers firing at each other and 5-10 tanks on each team firing at each other and it ran smooth as a button. also looked stunning! when it goes dark and you can see everything flying past your head just looks awesome!

Edit - 2 minutes after I post 'Get In The Fight' they go and take the servers down! Ha!

They are taking the servers down...again...after just putting them back up, to apply something or other! Will take no longer than 2 hours.

I take it their is something wrong with the PS2 website? i just tried to buy the game about 6 times and it never worked. Every time i clicked on buy, it took me to my account page. So then i went to set up a payment thing on my account and i added my card 4 times. Even clicking on some buttons wouldnt do anything.
