TK-ing is a knightmare for engineers the amount of times I've been run over by the tank I'm trying to repair, I am right in thinking that if you are driving a tank you get a message pop up telling you that you're tank is being repaired? if so why do most tank drivers drive off at full speed half repaired or panic when they get hit & reverse over you?

The drivers in general are terrible. The number of times I have been run over whilst minding my own business! It is really annoying.
Since I've been concentrating on the lightning I love getting repaired, trouble is you're often getting shelled at the same time, and your immediate instinct is to reverse out of the line of fire. I always do my best to stop for engi's and watch the infantry around me, but don't repair a tank from behind!

Good advice! Side is usually best. Also don't try to repair a sunderer from beneath it, or you may fall through the world like I did last night!
You have to sometimes to shield yourself from fire, obviously in the right situation you do it from a safe position but it's not always an option, just a bit of spacial awareness would be a big help.
Its fine. Ive not had any problem taking distant infantry out in my Lightning or Scythe.

The amount of infantry and those quads that run into me when I'm driving my prowler really hacks me off. I used to apologise but if people walk straight into me then sod them, taste my tracks.
Tank drivers and infantry need to keep they're eyes open. Tank drivers shouldnt plow through tight infantry packed spaces and infantry shouldn't crowd on tanks. Except engineers of course.

I've TK'ed plenty of people who have rammed me with their Flash. Always makes me chuckle.
So how is everyone planning on investing in station cash on Friday? I'm thinking of getting around 5k to load out HA and lightning, that Python HE turret obliterates infantry .
Also - I just looked at the comparison between £ and $ prices, we are getting seriously shafted with that exchange rate! Is it possible to buy in £ with paypal or something?

The problem is so many engineers stand BEHIND tanks, if they are getting shot to the point they are losing more health than they are being repaired, they are going to reverse and get the hell out of there.
So many times I've been repaired and the guy is stood behind, I either lose my tank or teamkill!
I know your pain though, this is why I never repair someone elses tank
Even in third person view, you can only just see the back of your own tank. Short of doing a 180 with the turret there's no way to see behind you. There should be a sign on the back "may reverse without warning"

How do you switch to 3rd person view mode?
I was looking for it in the key configurations, but couldn't find it.

I'll be pimping out my Scythe, Magrider and whatever else i want.
I won't buy them straight away though will wait for weekly packs and deals so my SC lasts longer.

I'm VS, so..
2nd burster for my AA max
AT lock on rocket launcher for my HA
V10 sniper rifle
Serpent rifle for general usage
Bulldog for Sunderer fun
Fury gun for Flash, so it does something other than just transport!
Dual photon pods and hailstorm laser for my Scythe
AT primary gun and an AA gun for the Magrider.
Should cost around 7k, which I think I can get for £19, if I buy 2500 and triple it. Might buy the next package up just for future purchases.
Not sure what I should buy for Liberator though, any suggestions?
Get both the secondary bomber guns (Dalton and the other), and get the Primary tank-buster.
The tertiary anti-air gun is pants.
Both the Dalton and the other gun are good for different situations, Dalton is more AV and the other is more AI.
Starting to get to an acceptable level in the magrider. 20 kills no deaths, then got flanked by some NC heavies and Boom!
It is difficult to just sit back sometimes, but it pays off as a support role. There is also times you have to be the front line, but you have to choose the moment carefully.
Magburner through enemy infantry is fun too!
