I started to use my Flash now, kitted out with the grenade launcher and Turbo and other stuff, it really does kill infantry so fast.

Sneak up on some guy and bam away then drive out of there as fast as you can for a other attack.

Died more to sucides then enemy with it tho. lol

I can't recommend the Saron AT laser for the Maggie highly enough - a few certs spent on zoom and you have an anti-tank sniper rifle. The VPC main gun is awesome as well. Find the enemy Sundy and blast away :D Death spam ahoy!
 
I'd like to know why I get killed stationary by AT Mines (or other people) yet when I do it nothing happens.
:( I've tried infront as close as you can get, behind, underneath, ontop.

Trust me, it works. In the useroptions.ini I noticed that when you change the options from the UI in game to low, it would set it to 2. You can change it to 1 in the Useroptions.ini and it will give you a significant boost along with the changing of the RenderDistance. (The game still looks awesome at these settings!)

It runs like crap with default settings on my pc aswell, but using that config i can play the game the way it was meant to run just doesn't look as good.
 
Epic, and I mean epic fight tonight on Miller/Esamir! About 2 1/2 hours around Stillwater/Apex.

The VS capped Stillwater a couple of times then we retook it and pushed out towards the bridge/hills east of Apex, we were pushed back several times by a huge magrider force! Over 20 mags, Skeps were used by the hundreds slowly whittling them down as they pushed us once again back to Stillwater.

Was a very fun fight, made 150 certs in a couple of hours as HA, definitely brought back memories of PS1.

Whatever VS outfits that were fighting there tonight, Kudos for a brilliant fight! Lots of different tactics, drop pods, galaxies, flanking, massed armour.

Amen. Been on Esamir (VS) for hours now trying to get the lock. Some excellent pagga going on with both TR and NC.

Jesus, til the 2nd of Jan? I don't play that much and I already have nearly all I need through cert upgrades (at max level), let alone a whole 13 days of double XP.. I feel they are spoiling the progression a bit too much.

You must have spent a lot of SC then, because i've played a lot and battle rank 39 and have so much to buy.

You've maxed our timers on Tanks/ESF's? Maxed our Engi/Medic tools, armours, frames and everything?
 
Any active (but don't require 4-day-a-week commitment, etc.) outfits on Woodman, VS? I don't mind some seriousness to the tactics and chatter, as long as it's a friendly bunch that don't mind a bit of fun.

I have a mic, and can install any VOIP programs or whatever else is required. I'm getting bored of tagging on to the back of assaults in the hope of getting some teamwork.

Most of the 'core' upgrades for what I commonly use, like the dogfighting airframe level 3 for Scythe, level 3 rival combat chassis for Magrider, flares/Magburner, vehicle & Nanoweave armor, weapon grips/rail attachments etc - the things that make a fair difference in combat (Nanoweave doesn't really do much - goes well with resist shield though).

Spent £30 on the game, which got me 12000 SC during the beta on halloween. I've only bought weapons using SC and still have some remaining, I do feel they go kinda overboard with the bonus boosts though.

Would highly recommend MAP, the unit i recently joined. Its chilled but well organised with ground and air units and works to move the map with tactics. Theyre also quite a laugh on their TS. Attendance isnt mandatory, sometimes i just like to rock my own thing, especially when theres a good defence going on somewhere, but i find myself joining more these days as the more fun option.

Last night we set up shop next to the NC warpgate whilst the VS zerg was trying to take a tech. 6 double bursters and tank mines gave anyone coming near grief until we were overwhelmed, was a lot of fun.

Worth a look.

For those VS on Lithcorp if you wanna friend me my IGN is Thrashlisaro usually 3/5 of us running round as a team we work together and would welcome a few more team players.

We have a small Outfit and our own TS server....I really need to re-purpose our old SWTOR website :)
 
I am linked with Trident at the moment on Lithcorp - they are generally very organised.

I am enjoying this game, although starting to find it a little boring the fact that generally the war is a stalemate with no one making any real progress.
 
Have been playing as a Terran Infiltrator, really enjoying sniping in this game. Trialled the first sniper rifle unlock yesterday and think I'll be purchasing it next time I fire the game up. Great gun nailing people in a single headshot at epic range when you judge the bullet drop correctly! :D
