lol yesterday i pressed e by accident just as i left the warp gate, i landed inside with no fall damage, my reaver landed on one of the towers around the edge with the grav lifts etc. Ran over to the lift, went up and because my reaver was covering the lift it killed me. Ran to another tower, used the other teleporter thing to get over to it, got in, my reaver flipped and blew up. Good job game.

Re-bind vehicle exit to something like K :) one of the first things I did after repeatedly jumping out of vehicles after pressing E instead or R to reload :D
 
Yeah whoever idea's it was to put the suicide button next to reload was a smart one. After killing myself a dozen or so times doing that. I changed the key to the the Enter key instead. Far away from where my fingers are not to ever press it. lol

Only negative is am a little slower in exiting when landing and repairing.

I should do the same with ground vehicles as I still press it by mistake. Love seeing my Prowler or Flash go speeding off in the distance while am chasing after it and thinking... wwwaiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
 
hah I do that all the time. Just rebound exit vehicle to U or something. Its so frustrating plummeting from your liberator to your doom with 2 other people in the Lib. hehe
 
Flying a Galaxy into the middle of a big fight is brilliant, draws a lot of fire away and everyone looks up like WTF?!?! Why is that Galaxy flying around a Bio Lab so low!

Out you jump as light assault just before it blows.

General:

Enemy spotting is now only shared with allies within 150 meters.
Spot duration has been lowered to 10 seconds.
At long distances you have to be closer to the center of the target to successfully spot.
Jump Jets should no longer function intermittently.
MAXes will render at a longer distance for players in aircraft.


Liberator:

C150 Dalton:
Firing adjustments have been made to the Dalton. This change will mainly be noticeable when attempting to fire on infantry or other small targets at a distance.
Dalton projectiles now have more mavity when fired. This makes the Dalton more accurate when the Liberator is above targets. Shot accuracy becomes more difficult as the Liberator increases its horizontal distance to its target.
The outer damage blast radius, where minimum damage occurs, has been reduced from 12 meters to 10 meters.

L105 Zepher
Firing adjustments have been made to the Zepher. This should only be noticeable when trying to hit infantry or other very small targets at a far distance.
Zepher projectiles now have more mavity when fired. This makes the Zephyr more accurate when the Liberator is above targets. Shot accuracy becomes more difficult as the Liberator increases its horizontal distance to its target.
The inner damage blast radius, where maximum damage occurs, has been reduced from 4 meters to 1.5

Infrared & Thermal Optics have had their effective viewing ranges tuned for the following weapons:
Scythe: All Weapons
Reaver: All Weapons
Mosquito: All Weapons
Liberator: Secondary Weapons (Shredder, Dalton, Zepher)
 
yes the IRNV range for all those weapons has been reduced by about half (I think...). It makes little difference TBH, if you are not engaging at those ranges then YOU HAVE NO TESTICLES! ;)

You had to engage at super close ranges anyway because infantry didn't render till you was really close while the infantry saw you miles away. :l

Didn't notice any differences to be honest, had a awesome 3 or so hours of flying around and using my Lightning.

Think I will start certing into my Lightning a lot more now, trying to decide between the Combat or Speed frame. I like to flank and get around the sides and do some damage before escaping as fast as I can if I draw too much enemy, so the speed might help with that, but the Combat frame would help with doing sharp turns and control since a lot of time I find myself in hills and such.

Definitely go with the combat frame. I have two levels in it and the difference is huge, especially when it comes to reversing in a hurry. That plus a single level of vehicle stealth, which is by far the most useful defensive option. I have a single level of the radar too, but tbh I haven't found it works very well.
 
Can anybody tell me what the Reaver is supposed to be good at?

As far as I can tell Scythes and Mosquitos can out turn me and out run me (unless I have loads of afterburner to use up).

This is a simple nerf. The IR works at about 60% of the previous range and the highlight range for infantry and vehicles is also now tiny. If you are close enough that IR activates then you are close enough that you don't need it.

The only use now is for seeing through the smoke that almost-dead aircraft give off when you are chasing them down.
 
Nice logic there, guess that fits for the Jews who didn't escape Nazi Germany in time and it's their own fault for staying there.

Yeah I find stealth to be best defence now, am using it on my Lightning, Flash and Mosquito, works best on the Mosquito since it allows you to easy dogfight and escape or attack players from above and they haven't got a clue what and where they being hit from.

The differences between them are little really, the Reaver is deadly up close since it has a shotgun type of main gun.
