yes, its good this is coming to the PC.

I had Mortal kombat x, street fighter 4, then Tekken, then this = Xbox sold :)
Yeah. I have all those, plus injustice 2, killer instinct, street fighter 5, dead or alive 5 and some others I forget now.

I think with this my fighter collection will be near complete on the pc. No need for consoles :D

Maybe Virtua Fighter 6 would be nice.

thinking about getting a stick type controller. i dont play online, i dont play often enough to get good at it, but i do enjoy a good beat-em-up. wondering is a fighting stick will make it more enjoyable.

I tried a fighting stick, had one for about a year. I am simply better with a controller. Also the stick takes up space so sold it

I am an average player myself, still really enjoy playing though. Right now I am enjoying Injustice 2.

I play using a stick. I find it more enjoyable personally and give me that feeling of playing in the arcade as a kid. Though you may find it more frustrating at first as you get used to playing with a stick. Took me a few months to get competent with a stick when I first made the jump from pad.
A stick won't make you a better player but to me now it just feels more authentic and a pad feels weird when I have to use one

Depends on how serious you want to get. I could do some pretty advanced things on pad in Tekken 7 but have recently switched to stick and have to relearn kbd properly on 1p and 2p, cancels, general movement etc. I'm getting there but it takes time. If you're used to pad, you'll play a lot worse.

It's more fun for me, for sure, and more comfortable, but good sticks are expensive and take up space. Also depends on how many fighters you want to play, I have 0 interest in Soul Calibur but I really like Tekken and DBFZ.

Interesting, did not know about that game, looks decent. Will keep an eye out and pick it up if I find it cheap. Got burnt on the last Marvel vs Capcom which was not as good as I expected it, not to mention the price dropped a lot within a couple of months.

I personally cannot wait for Soulcalibur 6. I used to really enjoy that back in the day. Surprised by the lack of interest here so far to be honest.

yeah i always thought soul calibur was the best of all the fighting games.

i'm pretty rubbish at fighting games, i'm not pulling off any special moves or anything, they are all too complicated:

back, forward, down, down, up, forward up, A B Z while pressing 5 other buttons all while in mid air at just the right millisecond.... no chance lol... i still have fun playing single player though, even if it is on easy.

Combos aren't usually the hardest part, unless you go for something so hard that's it's no longer optimal. It's usually proper movement/spacing itself and making right reads etc.

The best of all will always be Virtua Fighter for me. I never played it seriously but it looked and felt the best to me, a lot more realistic than any other game with gimmicky characters. Sadly, little chance for 6. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Well, at least I can play VF5 in Yakuza 6:D

MvCi is a solid fighter just no X Men and dodgy looking characters kinda killed it off before it was even launched.

It looks like the steam page is up. 6 weeks until release :)

Priced at £49.99 seems a bit steep. The developers are saying this might be the last in the series if it does not sell well. Judging by the lack of interest in here and the high price, that may indeed end up happening. Hope it does well. Would be happy to pay around £30 on release if I can find it cheaper elsewhere.

Well, SP2 for Tekken 7 comes out in a couple if days so count me out at this sort of price:p

I would maybe try it at some point but there's just too many games coming out I'm interested in to invest in yet another fighter, they take time if you want to be even average, unfortunately, and I'm not sure the gameplay in this is my cup of tea.

It can be had for around £32 from Voidu using the 25% off code which is on their site at the moment. The code runs out this weekend, so I decided to go ahead and preorder as it looks good and it has been a game I have wanted on pc for a long time.

I would rather buy that then buy dlc for tekken. I am not a fan of buying dlc for fighting games which are just unlocking characters. Not at the silly prices they ask for them anyway. I just wait a few years and can grab all the dlc for a few quid if it takes my fancy. Just look at Mortal Kombat X. The dlc was expensive just like all these other fighting games, but now you can buy the game with everything including dlc for less than £5.

Well, yeah but Tekken is the only fighter I play more or less actively so it makes more sense to me. We'll see about the price, though. I didn't buy the first season pass because it was rubbish but this one has Lei Wulong and Anna so I'm sold. Plus, the game receives significant rebalancing, new moves added, wall bounce mechanics etc.

EDIT: Also, all the rebalancing, new moves etc. are free. Quite a lot to test out, will keep me away from other fighters:p
One of my main characters gets a 14f NH launcher when in Rage, which is quite a big deal for me:D

Fair enough. I also like Lei Wulong, but I just cannot bring myself to pay the kind of money they will want for it which will likely be £15 at least when that pays for half of a brand new experience with Soulcalibur. It is not just about the money though. If I played it a lot like you, I would probably consider buying it also. Though for me I feel that I have got majority of the fun out of Tekken 7 already. Currently playing a bit of Killer Instinct and Street Fighter V as at least with that I can unlock characters :)

Ahh, I loved this back on the Dreamcast, played it for hours on end :D

Is it just me, or have the graphics not significantly Improved?
I somewhat thought the same due to how good the originals graphics were for its time. But there is a big difference. I will do a comparison later on for fun when I get the time :)

I am happy to see that is will have good single player content. I was disappointed with Tekken 7. Once I finished the main story there was not a whole lot more to do.
