GOLDRUSH UPDATE - APRIL 29th

When asked about the console versions, Valve was unable to give us a solid release date, but said they did plan on releasing this update as soon as they possibly could.

Looks like they're taking the time to refine some of the more extreme achievements, e.g. you only have to assist 3 kills with an Uber on a scout (instead of 4), punch out two with a Heavy (instead of 4) and destroy 5 buildings with a Demoman (instead of 8).

Makes sense, some of the original achievements would have meant most players never got to use an Ubersaw.

I fully agree. Im going home on Wednesday and then away for the weekend untill the evenign of monday the 5th... all away from my PC... Im not going to be able to play this till the 6th

It hardly matters if those dates coincide. Would you rather they delayed just for that reason?

Oh noes, the update is out tomorrow? I will be playing GTA for the next few months.... couldn't they have waited till I come out of hibernation!

I think everyone already discussed it all just before the first release date

so I think no-one really cares now and not expecting it to come until it's actually ready

Valve time is usually around 10:30 Pacific time isn't it? Therefore if its today we can expect the update around 6:30-7ish right? I'm not holding my breath
