Another update just come out.

Team Fortress 2 Client

* Removed TF2 achievement console commands

Team Fortress 2 Server

* Fixed clients being able to trigger sv_soundscape_printdebuginfo on the server
* Fixed potential "nuke" exploit in rcon subsystem
 
Wish i hadnt done that bloody unlock thing now, nice having the option but more satisfying when you get them yourself. :(
 
so they fixed the console command ? but i still have all weapons already bahh

Good :)

Still a bit cheesy though how many people are using medics just because of added acheivements. Some maps you couldn't get a medic for love nor money, now theres more medics than people with proper weapons for the job at hand.
 
Though let's be fair, medics on goldrush are really useful, I played soldier for a bit as Red and the Blue's medics assisting there heavies and demos just crushed us. Inexperience on the map will have a large part to play, but goldrush really does seem to require a solid medic core for Blue at least
 
I played for a couple of hours earlier and it was awful. Total medic melee fest, people camping in the spawn (presumably trying to get 10,000 heal in a life), ubering randomly. Glad the football was on so I could have a couple of hours away
 
I'm not sure what to make of Gold Rush.

Finding the cart too clunky, I realise that's probably the effect they were after. But the movement and speed of it, just doesn't feel quite right.
 
So what happens with the new weapon setup? Do you all of a sudden have 5/6 weapons to carry & choose from or do you pick at the start of each round and carry only 4 still?

Haven't had chance to play yet :)
 
Looks like achievements have been reset. Knew this was coming, and so should have other people considering the amount of players using the dev command to cheat the system. Hilarious to see all the whining on Steam's TF2 forum though... people staying up all night just for achievements? Daft, especially when it was pretty likely Valve would do something to remedy the situation that occured.

Over half the medic unlocks are based on stats that have not been recorded before. There is no possible way to have them all before the update. So basically, your lying... well done, have a cookie.
 
My achievements weren't reset with the patch, I used the console to unlock everything and still have it all. Is there a delay on this or something?

Well I used the code beforehand just to check it out, but my weapons have not been taken away, I guarantee you that.

Reading through them I probably have done all of them before anyway. Come load a server and I'll prove it to you, doubter.

That's exactly why I didn't use it. :) Got 11 achievements last night anyway. It won't take long, and is definitely more satisfying.

Funny I thought the cart moved forwards too fast even with only one Blu near it.

In general, I think it's too easy for the attackers, they win most games easily, depending on the teams, of course.
