Don't think i've read the Cole Protocol or Primordium, would want to read Cryptum first though. Too much to be getting on with as is, you'll let us know how they are, won't you? ;)

started and finished both Cryptum and Primordium this week (1st Halo books iv read) theyre both really good reads, they're a little slow in places, but its a case of the calm before the storm :D

No picture, but treated myself to some Premium Economy Flights to Shanghai in April......

Weird things is, they were cheaper than economy on the days I'm travelling (sat outbound and sun inbound). Confused.com.

To fix a leaky washer, however now I've finally got it running it looks like I need a new generator tube as it's running too rich which is why I'm getting orange flames escaping the mantle :( Only a £20 fix though :)

Do you mind me asking where you got these from?

I'm pretty sure I got them from ebay. I bought them last year as I was going to lay laminate in my bedroom but ended up being lazy and putting it off for a full year :o:D.

I tried my chair on the floor with the stock plastic wheels and it was horrible. These wheels are far better, the rubber grips the floor and they roll, instead of sliding and scratching.

Still makes a fair bit of noise though. I think a low pile rug might be a better solution if you want silence.

Do those sound cards sound any good stock? A lot better than something like an Xfi Extreme music?

Yeah sound perfectly fine with the stock OpAmps but different ones give a different flavour to the sound, the way background instruments pop out from their positions if you're wearing headphones or how the sound surrounds you when playing on speakers and feels 'live', depends on what you prefer I guess. OpAmps are a few quid each so cheap enough to try a few and use what sounds best to you.

If you play modern games then games largely sound the same as an X-Fi. I've not found much difference from when I had an X-Fi Gamer soundcard. New games don't really use EAX any more either so that kind of exclusivity that the Soundblasters had is no longer there. All these cards sound great in games.

It's in movies and music though that they're even better. For the price they can't be beat. I'm sure you'll find the same feedback in reviews online (not really checked as I jumped straight in from my previous card).
