*****Official Things we BOUGHT in January Thread*****

If you can't show it on the forum, when are you intending to wear it? I don't think I'd want to walk around with an explicit tshirt on to be honest.

I suppose it could work in a club, but I didn't have you down as a clubber.

Blurays...

Interested in knowing the quality of gladiator and planet earth. Haven't made the step up to bluray yet, trying to persuade myself to get a player. Something else I'd get is secrets of the universe (brian cox) but those two I would definetely get.

If you could compare them to the dvd versions I'd be grateful. Is the difference between dvd and bluray like non hd and hd tv? Or is it a bigger difference?

I wear it in the day?

I don't go out clubbing anymore, well, once in a blue moon I do but I don't buy clothes to go clubbing in, I just buy them because I like them and wear them when and where ever. :)

As for the DVD to HD question, if your TV is good then it is good, I think the price now is worth it. The price for a BR player is under £100 and the price for a BR is only like £2 more than a DVD release. I think the quality is worth the £2 extra.

Interesting. I wouldn't wear a sexually explicit tshirt in the day, I just don't think that it's appropriate.

Haven't gotten round to watching those 2 yet I'm afraid, but I did put Yellowstone on this morning and some scenes are simply stunning. I only upgraded to Bluray after christmas myself and so glad I did! :)

I hear Life is supposed to be exceptional. The start of the 'Bastogne' episode of Band of Brothers really stood out for me also.

Planet Earth, Life and Band of Brothers are all superb, and sold me on it completely. It's a massive step from DVD imo.

I seem to remember Gladiator being pretty good on Bluray as well. :)
