Without risking the wrath I've never known any retailer to text you updates on your order yet you all seem to be getting them for this game

I added the UKMail option. Still worked out at just under £35, which isn't bad seeing as I may get it 2 days early. FIFA 10 from same company using RM came a day after release, so opted for the UKMail option this time around.

Create a separate thread. This ended up becoming mostly a beta thread anyway.
I am sure people will be asking for help and mentioning scenes which will ruin it for people in this thread as only some people will get it tomorrow.
I will probably avoid the threads for the day and try hard to complete the one player before reading the new spoiler thread.

Should be getting this tommorow. I was more excited for this yesterday until I started playing through Drake's Fortune on Hard. It isn't that hard it just goes on for lengths without anything interesting happening. Plus I'm getting all the treasures. I should finish it beforehand because I've heard Among Thieves checks to see if you have completed the first. I doubt I'll have time before it comes.
Looking forward to this. It will be the first game I play through on our new TV.
Having not played the beta and from reading on here the MP sounds a blast. Gonna make sure my headset is fully charged for Friday.
Whats best you reckon complete Single Player then onto Multi (done this with KZ2) or straight into multiplayer?

Here's my first impressions on the game,
First things first, NO INSTALLATION! it is about time the PS3 didn't make me wait to play a brand new game, no doubt when they first introduce the first multiplayer patch you will need to download that to play single player game, but for now we are safe, There is an unuasually long load the first time and this may be installing data (haven't checked) but it isn't too long so I can put up with it.
It is probably the best looking console game I have ever played, It really does look unbelievably gorgeous in places, saying that though there are no really high res textures and you really notice it on some scenes, close to the start in the bar look at the bottles in the background (UGH!)
The climbing seems solid, I have only fell to my death a couple of times where I thought I would be fine, On the last uncharted this seemed to happen all to often, I am really enjoying the story so far, the way it is being presented is great, I love the way the story is presented,

Good to see that the moderating has been stepped up in here, thank you, although saying that I'll probably be caught out one day myself and then I'll be cursing it
Can't wait to grab the game, can't believe the scores this game has been getting, @ 97% based on 57 reviews on Metacritic Uncharted 2 is the highest rated exclusive this generation, and second highest rated game overall behind GT4 @ 98% critical acclaim, very impressive indeed.
