LOL BFCTom - I had to stop at that bit and play it in the daytime - it fricked me up too :p.

Dead Space is still sitting on the shelf :(

I found it a nice change, the first chapters were more using cover and some sniping and the end was more running and gunning.

If there is one thing I hated about the original was the last boss and his super accurate mega powerful shotgun
 
Can't wait to get my hands on this. Not heard a bad thing said about it. There has been some excellent SP games this year, Batman and now this!

Only got to chapter 8 so far, but spending time going for all the trophes/treasure as I go. Extremely impressed with it so far, loved the first and well worth the wait for this one.

I'd have to disagree with that. It takes more than 3 bursts of the 9mm. I fired about 4 in to the chest of an enemy last night (albeit at medium range) and he essentially stumbled around, but was still alive. It's frustrating!!

Dammit! Went cheaper for my Drakes Fortune copy and it now looks like #2 will turn up before #1.. that is a dilema..

Personally, I'd wait and play the first one first. That way you'll a) get to know the characters a little better to begin with, and b) be even more impressed with the sequel when you start that one.

I'm re-playing Uncharted at the moment and my copy of Among Thieves was sent out today, but I'll be resisting all urges to even play it until I've finished the first one again!
 
had the same thing happen to me when i just pld the 1st oppening bit, peeps watching thought the intro was still rolling, brill gfx and sound
 
I got it :) my "special Edition" the postcard arn't really postcards :( just some cheap art on plastic! Only played multiyplayer and its hard (im a PC GAMER) i am just playing thru the first one, before i wane touch the single player
 
Does the story follow on then? Loved the first one, played it through on hard. Remember the last "shotgun" level being as hard as nails!
 
Just been to two supermarkets, neither of which are breaking the release date. One worker even went as far as to wave the game in my face, I then told his manager they had just lost a sale :p.
