rename the file and put .jpeg at the end of it and then see if it opens after

PowerColor 7970 at Stock clocks Catalyst 11.12, going to update to 12.1a and see what it brings (edit, no improvement over 11.12)
Just ran the same test as you but with an Asus 7970 with stock clocks. Only difference is I ran it at 1680x1050 but my two monitors are 1080

Hey, can I just ask, have you run the test multiple times and always get the same min fps? That seems somehow insanely low for that setup when even my 6950 doesn't go that low when it's overclocked. Is that a driver issue maybe?
I'm also insanely jealous of your mspaint setup, cards alone cost more than my rig
