Hey just got this downloaded to see how far off I am with my build compared to some serious OC'rs

However I cant seem to get the Render mode to stay at DX11, it says I need to restart heaven for this to be apllied, after I restart I go back into settings to check and its back to GL, also cant select 1680x1050, any ideas???

What make/model is your monitor?

Do you have a DX11 GPU?

Samsung Syncmaster 2033SW (I know tiny Eh, im guessing this is why I cant run 1680, my moniter is 1600 native resolution If I can remember correctly)

I have an Asus GTX560Ti so yes DX11,

Is there any software I need to download, heaven asked me to download .Net Framework V4 before it would run, I have done that.

That answers that.

You can't run 1680x1050 on a 1600x900 monitor.

Not that I'm aware of.

What operating system are you using?

Windows XP doesn't officially support DX11 so that explains why you can't use that setting either.

I don't know if there's any unofficial way to get DX11 on 64bit XP.

Ah, thats dissapointing, looks like ill be getting W7 before I get a new moniter, I have already overspent upgrading on my LGA 775 socket system to tide me over another year, at least most of these upgrades are future proof, along with a new moniter.

Thanks for your help and sorry for hijacking, I actually thought it was just some setting I was missing in Heaven

Small overclock on the 5970 without changing voltage, 5870 stock still

Mixing up with

ReAPeR101 (GTX570 SLI) - 2099
Neilios (GTX560 SLI) - 2056
YellowBee (GTX570 SLI) - 2051

and
JeffyB (6990) - 2089
=VTA=MANFACE (6970 Xfire) - 2086
Terrier Jimlad (6950 Xfire) - 2070

Epic card!

That's impressive! :)

Can you still run games properly on that kind of OC or do they hang after a while?

Seems like a really good chip this. :D
