Last post didnt work for some reason :-(

Anyways this is my first attempt at overclocking this gpu. It was ran at stock voltage, with stock cooling. Evga Precision settings were 925/1850/2250. The cards temps topped out at 58c for the test.

I am pretty satisfied with the results as this was higher than a few of the 580s i have seen on here. I am sure i can go a decent bit higher once i know more about what is safe voltage wise... anyways if anyone has any suggestions to improve the score let me know :-D

All I need now is a 2nd one ;)

It's taken me a few weeks to get there, I've spent hours tweaking everything a fraction at a time. Loads of instances of getting most of the way through the bench only to have it lock up. I thought I'd hit a wall at 1355 but persistance and setting the fan control to 100% has helped! :D
 
Yeah if you don't need to I generally say don't bother.

Im just trying to see how far mine will go. I never leave it at the highest overclock 24/7 as it would affect my lecky bill and the lifespan of the card.

Would like to get a better score, just don't wish to play with voltages as i'm moronic and will end up breaking something :L
 
finally played with voltages

Well I finally decided to play with my voltages. Ran OC scanner for 1.5 hrs with no artifacts so I gave unigine a go.. It ran smooth.. temps hit 70 then fans went into turbo and temps held around 68c

1.1v 1075/2150/2250

No clue if I can go higher, but personally I just ran that for benchmarks. My daily OC is 900/1800/2200

Heres mine
powercolor 6950's shaders unlocked
at 830/1275 on stock volts not bothered about trying to get anymore at present as i it runs everything i throw at it at a solid 60fps so higherclocks would only cause me more heat.
Top card only hits 64'c after a lengthy session.
