Nice score locky, I can almost hear 8Packs water-chiller being switched on, in the distance ;)

I am on the 3rd RMA for my Rampage so still stuck with triple-channel ram config @ 1600MHZ.

My 1080p score with Single XFX 7970 @ 1350/1850 = 2473

3930k CPU at 4.7GHZ.

GPU-z: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/begcy/

1050p score is 2707.

It won't be long before 8pack comes along and pwns me.

:(

Why what has 8pack got that you haven't? At least you know you are about 10% faster than any nvidia card on the scoreboard :D

Top 3 7970 are probably running on water, which explains the difference. Don't get me wrong, i had tried 2 7970's and was impressed with the result, however both of them DSR'ed now along with KFA2 hall of fame card and 2 670's which were sli. Current gtx 680 is the best card so far, for me that is, taking into account power, heat, price, 3d.

Here's the bench for the single GTX680, incremental increases in clocks meant I ran out of time - will try again another day.
I was aiming for 2400 when upping core frequency but at one point my score dipped right down to 1500, a system reset got the full GPU performance back.

GPU - POV-TGT GTX680 Ultra Charged (overclocked to - Core: 1228MHz, Boost: 2455MHz, Mem: 1732MHz, Power: 112%, Voltage: 1.175, Temp: 58c@100% fan)
CPU - 4.8GHz, 1.40vcore - validation
