***Official Unigine Heaven DX11 3.0 Benchmark Scores***

8800 GTX was faulty, this is due something called micro fissures. Caused by card heating up parts becoming unsoldered ( I think I mean like, broken?), at least I think so. :D

Baking it at 200C for 10 minutes, seems to have reflowed everything and now it has been running last 4 hours with no problems. :D Used to turn green and lockup even in desktop. Scored 492 in Heaven!! (DX10)

I'm off to dig my old cards out in the loft :D:D just to see if that fixes them hehe, i presume you take all the coolers off etc ? and you reckon 200c for 10 mins right ?

see what some old cards can pull in Heaven !!

Try downclocking your memory. :)

I was testing using 3DVantage to try and find a sweet point in terms of clocks/perf quickly, and I actually found that 1350 netted me better scores than 1400 etc. I'm guessing error correction at that point is too strong and is negating/causing negative performance, could be the same with yours as you have pretty high memory clocks.

Thanks I will try that! :)

About 195C for 10 minutes yes, it's known to help 8800GTX not sure about others but if they are broken what's to lose from putting it in the oven? :D My oven is rubbish and old, I set 200C to compensate, but guides say 195C 10 min. :)

You take off the cooler and the old thermal material otherwise I guess you will cook the stuff on but probs don't matter.

I'm using the 8800GTX still. Couldn't even run desktop before, it genuinely fixed this card.

Follow that guide, the guy is pretty funny too. :D

Does this ok?

Nope, you have VirtuMVP enabled? Driver optimization? You also need to include a full screen screenshot of your score at the end of the run, with the cobblestones showing.

You will also need to provide links to your full size images.

I run benchmarks without VirtuMVP and with defaults on control center.

By the way why such high voltage for 1200? Mine does 1200 on much lower volts. 1299 should be enough for 1300 clock.

What brand 7970 is it? :)

I think it is supposed to look like this:

And also all cards are different, some need high voltages for higher clocks, some fair pretty well on stock volts. its a non-issue if you're watercooled anyhow (which I presume he is as fan control in AB is disabled). With water i tend to OC in reverse, max the voltage (within reason obviously) and just work the clocks up.

Edit: not 100% on it being watercooled, can't make out the temp readings.

Your correct I am watercooled mate.

Will try and get a screenie with the cobbles.

;)

You need to provide a screenshot of GPUz Validation and provide the validation link ;)

But yeah the scores look good and the cards are scaling well.

Not that it matters as i don't have proof. Screen shot came out black. I think as my screen res is 1900*1200 so it boxes it at 1900*1080.

Scored just under 2000, with a 7950 vapor x at 1155clock, 1350ram. At stable temps and volts. Could squeeze more but I'm scared of high vrm temps because of the card design. Hence the lowish ram speeds.

Cpu is 3570k at 4.5ghz

il try again over the weekend, with slightly higher clocks to push me over 2k.

Added. ;)

Same clocks as you, i get 4191. Will post the screens in about 5 mins or so...might do another run higher clocks though.

Yeah same cards/clocks perhaps but everything else is different. You have a much better CPU + Mobo than me matey.

Not much difference though goes to show my old 920 D0 is still keeping up and no slouch!

:)

Score 2021, think I could challenge for the top 7950 by pushing things up a tiny bit more. My score is all on air.

Sapphire 7950 Vapor X @ 1200mhz/1350mhz
i5 3570k @ 4.5ghz

Validation: GPUZ Validation link here (will do when the email comes through with the link... or I work out how to get it. Might need to redo the validation part, let me know)
Also I closed gpuz while running the benchmark incase it took up resource and then re opened it to take the screenshot.
