Yoooooooooooooooo,

Thought i'd make a thread for all the people that are going/hoping to be going to uni 2009. Me personally, I am going to Portsmouth to study Computer Network Management and Design, going into halls and generally looking to meet loads of new people, have a great time and of course learn some stuff about networks :)

Thought i'd make the thread so people can say what they're hoping to be doing at university and also ask any questions, and get views from people who have already been!

Cheeeeeeeeeeers,

Jack

I am hoping to go to uni next year, some where like Cass business school maybe, I wish I had taken my A levels earlier and not done nothing for the past few years.

Got an AAA offer from Imperial for Electrical and Electronic Engineering for 2009 entry :)

I just can't wait to go and enjoy the freedom and the people and not having to wake up at 6:30 in the friggin morning every single day :D

Don't be so sure ;) It's not exactly 6.30am, but with having to be in every day at 9am, I still get up around 7am. :p

If any of the people who decide upon Uni placement acceptance also have a strong interest in football, then January must be their most exciting transfers in/out month of the year.

AAA is a high offer for any course, I got AAB for the EEE course's at Sheffield, Warwick and Southampton. I chose to go to Sheffield and have enjoyed the last 3 1/2 years. EEE is not an easy course though, be prepared to have you enthusiasm for electronics severely tested, quite a few people I know really don't want to work in the field after graduation.

The nightlife is great, there's defiantly something for everyone :p , The union is the biggest in the country, and voted the best (well at least it was one of the years I've been here). There's a different club night on every night at the union and then there's loads of bars and clubs in the city.

Yeah im currently at sheffield uni and we still have the best union in the country! :D
Plus the nights out are really good, something for everyone. But it seems most students go to plug on a thursday (god that place gets rammed)
