Yeah it's called Courageous Resistance.
If you get a medal and lose you are given the same bonus to credits and xp as the winners.

Looks like it was a pretty close game. You had some pretty god awful tier 8s on your team however...

Not really. They have said from the start that bonus xp does not count towards the IS6 challenge.
Looked pretty black and white to me in the original 'IS6 special' wording that all xp bonuses were included. The official WOT forum is raging about the issue.
Doesn't really bother me as no way was I going to commit that sort of time investment.

It was originally written in several places that it would be included, but WG have backtracked and deleted mentions of it. As snubber said, check the WG forums for lots of raging about it.

Sorry Snubber, I wasn't bothered about the IS6 giveaway anyway, so I guess I didn't read the original version properly.
Bad show by WG. I actually think if Gajin treat their customers better then WG will eventually fade if they keep treating their customers this way. (Not that Gajin are in my good books at this moment either.)
I'm sure it falls under false advertising law. But I'm not sure about that.

Call me a cynic but I can't help feeling the real reason they back-tracked and moved the goal posts is that they saw a significant number of players were well on course to meet the challenge.
Still love the game but can feel my interest is slowing waning...
Note to self...got to give War Thunder a proper bash. Played it for like 10 mins back in the Summer...impressed...but then went back to WOT!!!

If you have t6 tanks that you are grinding anyway, then it isnt a waste. It earns lots of credits and crew xp. It's also fun to play the game (shame this one isnt true of late!!!
) Lots of days premium to be had as well though.
When I earn money from overtime I dont want to spend it on WoT. I don't think the IS-6 is worth real money.
Grinding for it though means not parting with real cash and is a challenge. I would like to use an IS-6 and know that I got it without paying for it
