I agree - a 53% win rate over 14000+ games says exactly that.

The frustration is the problem here as you say.

It's like steering a bicycle backwards with your feet.

I even did that trick where you can hide under another tanks gun depression :) but all he did was ram me, broke my track and shot me :(
If it has a turret it would be liveable, but I'm just not good enough.

I am the same, the Elc Amx is great fun, but really hard to do well in.

My fave ever LT was the T50-2 pre physics that was just hysterical. My fave now is the T71. Although the chaffee looks fun.

Hah, it's a go-kart :)

Just one shotted an ELC so happy, although that turned out to be the only other kill my team made :/

Have you noticed that if you hit someone they'll do anything to kill you :D

Popped an AP into the tiniest visible bit of an IS at long range, amazed it hit but delighted that it set him on fire.
So I could see him leave his position and race over to my position, fired another AP but missed. Then hid while I loaded some HE.
Popped out, he nailed me for nearly all my health but my HE was a guaranteed kill.

If he had ignored me he could have nailed a few more kills?

I already have the following: Bat Chat, T62a, T110E4, T110E5, E50m, Obj 268, IS7, Foch155, IS4.

I have unlocked The FV4202, T57 and E100 and have a new toy itch.

The 4202 seems pointless (lets wait until the re-jig), The T57 seems like a lol and I like autoloaders. But I have not ever driven a super heavy.

So T57 or E100 ? I'm erring towards the E100 but opinions as always gratefully received.

E100 is good but it's very situational, and I find I have to fire gold to make that big gun worthwhile using. However it can be quite rewarding.

Personally I'd go with the T57, but that may just be because that's the next tier 10 I'm after...
 
I must admit, there are tanks that are great to play but just cannot carry unless v lucky.

Scouts are one such tank. The others are the lightly armoured german TDs.

It's one of the reasons that I'm erring towards the E100. At least you can take a hit or two.
 
Hmm T57 - good fun. Ammo racked 80% of the time. Like all autoloaders an assasin at the end game. Gold ammo is sick. Had a 2 vs 5. Took out 3 tanks in 6 seconds. :-)

Just reading wot news and just seen this

Hallelujah!!!!

They most certainly have to try and do something, although I don't think it'll remove them all in one fell swoop, but over time it'll reduce the number. Although saying that if a suspected bot has to fill in captcha for the next 5 to 10 games it'll certainly help.

Worst case bots will only be seen in the lower tiers where someone keeps trying to introduce a new one after having been caught out.

Or they could deal with it by:

You have to be better than 50% of the players of a particular tank averaged out over your last teir^2 battles before you can get the next tank.

That way bots/afks just never get to get the next tank and gets rid of the reason to use bots.
 
ANyone else getting the infamous "zombie tanks", tanks that move slowly for about 5 meters after they are dead ?

It is a game breaker. Just had a battle on sand river and realised that I had just been putting shell after shell into a dead tank that was showing up 5m to the left. No wonder the T57 I was shooting was staying there. I thought he was in the open, he was in fact behind the dead M103 :-(
 
Yeah I've had that a couple of times. The first time I had it I did the same as you, and kept trying to hit the tank that was clearly in the open. I then realised I could actually see my shell impacts on the wreck which wasn't anywhere near where I was aiming!
 
Anyone up for a Cromwell platoon over the weekend? I should really make use of the special and go for the Comet...

Yeah, probably see it in every game I play since the update to version 9.0 iirc.

I'm sure that they're aware of it, but as normal it appears to be low down on the development/bug fix list.
 
Eat - take a break. dont do anything silly like delete your account.

I took 3 months off a few months ago and it helped a lot.

They really really do need to skill match. There is just no fun in being part of a team of bots and idiots being rolled over for a 15-1. Just share the bots and idiots out.
