@anuraj, Netherlands reviewing site actually, and if you haven't already, dispute the claim - they seem to be pretty infamous for pulling this nonsense.

Yeah I 1disputed it some time ago. They haven't responded. I heard if they don't respond in 10 days the dispute passes?

Good video though.

Two weeks, but yeah as I understand it, if they don't respond in the timescale it gets dropped.

Where it gets complicated is say if the actual creators of the game also filed a claim, you can't just dispute Sanoma's, the system forces you to dispute both.

I guess so but many other people have darksiders videos up so I hope it will go through and the creator hasn't filled in a claim. I have continued to make darksiders videos and they haven't been claimed so I'm guessing the creator didn't claim the first one.
 
From what I understand, it's an automated process, and what triggers it is the game intro.

Basically Scumona.nl do their review, include the game intro, and then claim the entire thing is all their own original work.

Youtube sees your video, sees the intro and flags it as having breached Scumona's copyright. Later videos are unaffected because they don't have the same stuff in them.

Yeah I was reading about it earlier.
 
Something really annoying I discovered with DOSbox - my recorded video ended up being a good 30 or so seconds shorter than the time I actually spent playing, which obviously led to desynch with the commentary. I managed to smooth it out a bit by using Premiere Elements Time Strech tool, but it's still not right, especially in the early sections.
 
Mine and my friends new YouTube channel for our gameplay.
