Offline spyware removal

Hi all,

Ive got a machine which is full of spyware and viruses...

Are there any spyware/virus removal tools which I can use offline as I dont particuarly want to put it on the network.

So basically after something I can download with the latest updates and then put on a cd and install?

Also needs to be free

how would i get the latest updates for the and install on the not networked (stand alone) machine?

Just speculating here, but if you were to install some of these programs on another pc and update the definitions.....

Would there then be any way to copy the latest definitions onto a cd, so that when you install the program onto the other pc, you can then "update from cd/file"

I'm pretty sure adaware has a feature where you either chose - "update from internet" or "update from file"

Might be worth looking into.....

thats the kinda thing im after. This is bascially at work, and a director has brought in their personal laptop which is full of spyware, worms etc. I dont want to put it on the network in case its got any nasties but they dont want me to wipe it

I will have a look at adaware and see if I can download the updates and apply from file.
