Offset Voltage

Been reading up on offset a little bit. I'm currently at 4.7GHz stable on my 8700k @ 1.265v (manual) on a Gigabyte Aorus gaming 7 Z370 board.

However, id like to set the voltage via offset so it drops when there is no load and doesn't stay at a constant 1.265v. Also looking for the clock to drop as well as that is also at a constant 4.7 GHz.

I've never messed with offset before. All i do know is that i need my VID which i can see in core temp when running at stock. After that ive no idea how to calculate offset to get my stable voltage @1.265v under load? All power saving setting are disabled and and LLC is set to turbo.

Need some advice as reluctant to mess about with it atm.

Thanks

if i can recall,5GHZ is 0.205v+ with 1.4v

only sure away of setting to to move to offset settings and try 0.050v and see if stable , if not then increase
