Had no email but saw on the official forums other people had theres so checked my account on stardock :D

apparently doesn't show up in your steam library until it's launched on steam though which should be in around 50mins

It'll take a fair few hours to understand the mechanics - obviously AI is a bit dry as it's pure math, can see it being more 'dynamic' in MP.

game seems pretty hard,it's not just about making money you have to keep some commodities cheap enough for your colony to expand if they get to expensive your colony slowly dies and game over.

all whilst trying to avoid being bought out

Well Im asking because these days Im quite dubious about what games I buy.

All kinds of genres have become much of a muchness. This is a little bit more original it seems but I was wondering how does it play? From what I gather, there is a bit of a learning curve it seems?

It would be interesting to get some view points on it in here but after checking some of the videos on you tube I decided to hold fire. However - Soren is a great developer and one I would trust a lot in doing the right thing so if it looks like the type of game that appeals then I would go for it.

I was involved in the pitboss beta testing for Civ 4 and was very impressed how close Soren got to the testers - interceding on my behalf when we had a specific issue we were trying to lock down

Civ 4, Baba Yetu. Awesome game :)

Cheers for the feedback, perhaps Ill pick it up when its in the "bargain bin" at some point.

Got my eye on Skylines atm, still in two minds about it...

Hmm this is tempting, particularly after Tom Chick's review..

Has anyone played the multiplayer regularly? The single player campaign doesn't seem to justify the cost, judging by what I've been reading.
