Oh Dear

I disagree, I think £8,500 is quite a lot of money.

It's 5% of the cost of the average terraced house. It's more than I have spent on cars in the last 11 years. It's just under 50% of the average UK annual salary.

I agree, if I was in a position where 8.5k was a small amount of money to me, obviously it wouldn't be that bad a choice. To most people, my self included, 8.5k is a **** load of money, I could probably live off it for a year.

Well, i have owned the swift for the last 2 months now, and i cant grumble. Its an amazing bit of kit, really smooth to drive, amazingly fun to drive. Darryn, i have added you to msn, ask me some questions when your next on, will be able to point you in the right direction if your interested in buying a swift.

10k is a hell of a lot of money for a years motoring without the petrol! As for a 1.3 being a 'definite advantage' for your first couple of years, wrong, you wil get irritated by the lack of performance after about a week, get the most powerful one.
Warranty I can't really argue with, but there is no reason a 4 year old car wouldn't be perfectly reliable, it's hardly ancient.

Just back from the Suzuki garage, im now fairly happy I wont be buying the 1.3, im now much more interested in the 1.5GLX, got taken out in both and the 1.5 is much more nippy and it has Air-Con, the garage have a Ex-Demo 57plate 5Dr 1.6GLX in stock for £8,499... My insurance quoted £1k combined (for Both, Suzuki and Mini), im waiting for them to send me the quote thru the post so I can check all the little details.

Ill stick with £8.5k being not a lot of money, but I suppose its all relative to how much you earn and your priorities.

Thanks Eddie, Ill chat to you later im just off out. :)

Updated pics, after a lil bit of a clean :)
