Oh how I laughed.

Snap!
I'm also installing XP on my OS X now... I need it running in virtual so I can run a couple of coursework program (minitab! - why isn't there a good OSX equivalent)

And yes, does make one chuckle when seeing that - saw that a good 4 years ago whilst idling infront of a re-format, still funny now~

Dude, many people would have been upgrading from WindowsME. ;)

To be fair though, and this is no word of a lie, I was in the middle of typing "yeah I like Macs because they tend to be more stable than windows" on MSN and my MacBook FROZE, requiring a hard reboot. I don't know if Microsoft had built in some sort of killswitch but it was highly embarrassing signing back in after that one!

Wahey, another one.

I'm sorry, but just **** off. I use Windows a lot more than OS X, and gives me the right to say what the **** I want. OK? Good!
Just the one thing i dont get, Mac users generally "look down" on PC users:
Mac ads
General chat (Mac is better)
Oh its so stable
Windows is worse etc.. (Not quotes just a general idea of whats said)

Then why install windows if Mac OSX is soo must faster, more stable, allows high productiviy etc?

Oh and dont reply to this crying like a 7yr old "I can install windows if i want" because you will then sound more childish

Oh and we see the real side, what’s with the language? What about my right to say what I want?

This thread is like a big bucket of bait tbh, I have a G4 Mac that runs Leopard so I ant not fanboy.

I'll reply how I want.

Several reasons;
1) To see how Parallels handles my normal Windows tasks.
2) To see if I can cope using Parallels instead of my PC.
3) To see if I can buy a Mac Pro if the above two reasons come back fine.
4) To cover up Transgaming's crap coding.
5) Applications for work.

You shall need to forgive my language, I was rather annoyed that when I post in the Windows forums I get flamed to hell, and then you two lovely chaps walked in.

Maybe it is a bucket o bait, I didn't intend for it to be a bucket o bait though, was just a bit of light humor. :/

Because certain work requires Windows based programs - may it be exclusive or just no alternatives better on OS X.

Not sure about the whole Mac looking down on the PC users, each to their own - Windows users can moan about their system and boast about their xxx FPS on their PC, Mac users can talk high heavens about the stability and intuitive system but also moan about stupid updates that causes unnecessary crashes.

It's more Mac users are more satisfied about their system, perhaps constantly trying to "convert" or compare what's "better" on a Mac than Windows that gives them an air of arrogance; truth to be told, don't windows users have their sucker punch on Mac's lack of gaming power and higher hardware prices?

Each to their own, each have their own good and bad points - but in this case of the OP, it's funny how they've worded as though the OS is going to make the computer run faster...

Thats all i wanted to know, makes sense having 1 machine for 2 OS's, but these "Normal Windows Tasks" why cant Mac OSX run them?

EDIT: Answered above^
