Comcast wants to put cameras in your home.

Just like implanting chips into our brains, we are being attacked and manipulated in every possible way in regards to corporate gain and less civil freedoms.

You may have noticed the conditioning that goes before something like this is implemented in the real world. Some would say films like Johnny mnemonic were created to condition us to accept a future were brain implants are common place, The true term is Predictive programming, we are to get used to certain plans and ideas before implementation, and when the time comes, it will not seem as harsh as it would if those strategies were introduced without any pre conditioning.

It is little articles like the one above which are used to gather initial public reaction and also to soften us up to specific ideas detrimental to our freedoms.

One thing you should know, when a government takes a freedom, it is never given back.

Looks like we are heading into a future of corporate tyranny , were profit is king, and the human spirit is the commodity .

not another conspiracy theory nut are you?

The thought police are looking for you btw.

i don't dismiss everything i read, nor do i believe everything i read either.

it seems that when people make a knee jerk reaction to stories like this , they have no basis for that reaction at all, and just like you, say things like " the thought police are after you "

i don't mind disagreement, but it must have basis, it cant be mindless.

meh they'd never get it approved/no one would buy it so they won't really take it further as there's no profit in it.

Although if it's recognising body motion/form, if you start fapping will you get adverts for porn, and then get frustrated it cut into your porn to advertise you porn?

theres no good reason to believe it.

We should be clear: This is all in the experimental phase. There has been no consumer testing and Gerard Kunkel, Comcast's senior VP of user experience, stresses that any final decision is predicated on the boxes providing more to the viewer than just precision advertising.

The fact the VP of Comcast confirmed they where experimenting with it, does sort of prove that they are, experimenting with it ...
