Oh why did I just go and look at a V1000?!

I wasn't sure about the wheels either, but they're pretty nice when you see the case. They go with the rounded corners of the case, and are pretty handy when you want to get access to the rear of the case. Although I have mine sitting on a filing cabinet which has wheels itself, its the best place I could imagine for a case, now I can wheel the whole lot out and work on it with ease, plus there's space to chuck all my cd's and paperwork. :)

Wheels are handy, fitted them onto my Stacker. Had to access L/R quick release clips and the wheels helped, just moved forward out of the desk instead of dragging it. Push it back and lock the castors in place (brake) I guess for midi towers don't need them, but I would probably say case is around 10kg after all components are in. Also similar with a vent at the bottom, further from the carpet so less likely to get dust/better cooling.

i've done that to my stacker but it makes more noise now i think as the wheels dont absorb the vibrations and such

good cooling as the vent in the bottom is 2inch from the carpet though and the blue neons shine through

Put some rubber grommets between the wheels and the case, sorted. :)
