Oil cooled PC.

Its an interesting concept, but imagine trying to sell on your old oil soaked parts? :p

Lets try it with a dual socket 1366 board and quad 480's, then we can make fish fingers and chips while we game :D

They even recommend using a radiator I have!:o

This caught my eye though:
This project is intended as a cool conversation piece, and a fun do-it-yourself project. Due to the risk of tank failure if the oil reaches temperatures above 75C, we do not recommend submerging overclocked or extremely hot hardware in this system.

Maybe a project to try on an old 1366 system before dunking £2k worth of equipment in oil :p

Edit: I think I saw a similar system a while ago but it used a condensor rather than a radiator.

Intel are behind the times, it's been done back in the days of the Pentium 2:

I toyed with this idea and still am. I want a small quiet system in my bedroom just for streaming to my TV. Who knows? When I have some available funds again, I probably will.
