Just notice that the car has been leaking oil, what would the best way to get this off a paved drive way. Though of replacing the brick with new ones but this would look very odd. Any Ideas ??? Bleach, washing up Liquid ??

I had this happen a few months ago and managed to clean pretty much all of it.

Wait for a rain forecast and cover the area in laundry detergent (I think I used Ariel Actilift), after a few hours heavy rain you should have a clean driveway again!

clean area, with soap water and let it dry,

then get some Meth spitits ot Isopropyl Alcohol, and pour it over the area, and set it alite, it will dilute and burn of the oil,

this can also be used on oil stained wood

Very difficult if it's soaked in, could try cement dust to try and soak it up and draw it out.

As a block paver, i would NOT recommend this lol, as u will just create a cement stain.
As above try some detergent or bleach then rinse off with a jet wash if possible.

Also worth trying your local council tip, and try and get an old 'aged' block of the same colour, that way u can replace the stained blocks and it wont look odd.

Or if u have an area that is not too visible like a side path, etc... maybe worth lifting a few blocks from there and using them to replace the stained blocks.

There is a technique for lifting blocks, as u will find they are very tightly packed together, if u need this tip, just trust me an email and i will tell u how.

Goggles! Gloves! Wellies!

Caustic Soda!

You can clean anything with lye! But you need to do it with care because it will also clean flesh from bone! (and then the bone!)

(If you get it in your eyes it will blind you! (No I'm not kidding))

But it will clean your driveway!

:D

forecast for rain tomorrow, so going to nick some of the wife washing power ( Do i need to use softner as well :) )
