As some know I had problems with my fan on a h60 v2 and changed it well after a good clean of the pc today I found I put the fan as pull which I always put as push if I only use 1 fan. Well I was getting kinda ok temps while in pull but I put it back into push and my idle temps have gone from 29C to 37C ? which has never happened. fan is running at 20% as of using a solo 2 case not much air flow.

Does any one know why this could be or how i could get my temps down? I know some will say they are ok temps but I get too paranoid due to my meds so I like things at a good way.

Are both pull/push bringing air from out of the case to in?

pull was from the rad and push was pulling from outside the case to the rad.

I would try removing setting the block with fresh thermal compound and with the fans as exhaust how they are now as I can see it looks like there blowing hot air into the case and it's not getting much place to escape with the front fans being intake.

Is the top front fan intake as well?

The reason I said to possibly re set the cooler was because if you have been moving fans around on the rad and the heatsync Got knocked or pulled it could have moved a fraction without you noticing it could have produced a air bubble Causing the problem

Sorry about that was in a rush i redone the picture.

The tubes on the cooler are big so hard to push any closer to get the perfect fit on the cpu.

I think having the radiator fan as a exhaust would be best if it's getting the flow from the front.

Not only for the component on the loop but the rest of the case will appreciate the lower temps on other components.

Especially if you overclock then the mosfets/ram motherboard and such other things will prefer to be lower.

In reality the changed fan orientation should have made very little difference to the temps

When you were changing it around did you take the whole cooler off or just the fan/rad

I only took the rad off to clean the fan and blow out the rad.

The rad is cool on touch but temps are saying warn.

I don't oc its why I went with a 2500 and not a K.

I see I can't really think of anything else that could have caused the temperature change.

Dude a reply was great helped or not. I come here for help as most of the members are brit's and do try to help unlike most sites they just post for post counts.

If the rad is cool but the cpu is hot, then the problem is transfer to the water so I suspect the mount is not optimal. Re-mount and see if it solves the problem. Also, generally speaking, exhaust heat out ASAP so the rad needs to be placed for the air to leave the case but whether you do push or pull makes very little difference.

Ok clean compound and re-seated I have found out that the rad part were the screws go the threading is messed!, very strange since its only the 3 time I have messed with the screws to clean the fan? should I tell OC as im not getting a tight fit and fittings are very loose and don't want the dam rad falling on my gpu.

A few people have mentioned the metal appears to be a bit crap.

I don't think they'll do anything about it really because it can only have been caused by you

You could buy some bigger screws?

Well I've made a post in the cs section see what they say as one thread was loose out of the box and now the rest are going even with not much use. plus the bad temps which on a look most people who have this v2 are having the same problem. plus a sound of the coolant splashing around when i moved it which i have not seen before which my other wc's and never heard it while cleaning till today.

could it be drying up inside? could be why the temps are getting worse

I always thought these all in ones were completely sealed so afaik it cannot dry up if the coolant can't get out of it.

How long have you had it for?

All the reviews I've read for it seem to point towards it being an adaquet cooler capable of keeping higher tdp CPUs relatively cold.

35 c is good I'm unsure what the issue is. If it were a custom loop I could understand being annoyed at that temp but not for an all in one.

Do you know what your ambient temps are?

my room temp is 18C but I have my window open for cool air with 2 fans blowing around the room.(due to the kids and heat)

I've only had it since march

Well its 18c regardless of windows/fans. Your cpu is 20 degrees over ambient which isnt bad at all.

For a single rad all in one thats rather good.
