Hey guys, never posted in motors before, hoping someone can give me some words of wisdom. So here's the story:
My friend has a mark 1 Polo. It's been sitting still (outside) for probably around 13 or 14 months, the battery is probably dead. When we jump start it the engine sounds like its about to turn over but just doesnt quite get there. All the dash lights come on etc. just the engine seems to have trouble.
Im hoping the engine hasnt seazed in this time, but dont really know a lot about cars to say for sure.
Can anyone suggest other things that are easy to implement that might get it going?
