i'm trying to find a logo to put as an example for a site design, the best i could find of this logo is on this site (top left logo) however the owner is doing something funny to stop me from getting the image. i thought it'd be simple to get it but everything i'm trying is failing me and i just get that silly blank image. anyone car to help me out?

Or just opened firebug, clicked on the image and got the actual url of the image from where it's displayed in the css. :)
Ah, I did it the old school way, without the aid of a calculator :D

Though after such ringing endorsements, I've finally installed Firebug, so thanks :)

thanks all, i was using the web developer extension for firefox to try a few things but that never showed the background image for blank.gif which was weird as i thought it would have

You could also have printscreened your browser window, this works on most sites...

print screening would have had the logo with the black background but i wanted it to be transparent :)

Adblock blank.gif and then you'll always get access to the real image.

Here's one for flickr who do a similar thing:

:D

adblocking the blank.gif removes the owners club logo as the logo is the background for blank.gif as far as i can tell.
