OK, this is my proposed HTPC build, check pwease? :D

Yar, when the PC is shutdown, the display will remain on (displaying the time, in the barely legible font i mentioned earlier). You can certainly use the remote to turn the PC on, as for doing it at a pre-programmed time.... not sure. The Harmony (or any other) remotes won't have that kind of timer feature. If you wanted to do something like that, i think you'd have to use the Wake on LAN feature on your mobo.

I might be wrong... and maybe there is some kind of timer feature in the newer iMON software but i'll be damned if i'm going to install it to find out ;)

(i very VERY much doubt there is btw!)

i7 930 @ 3.8Ghz
GTX 580 AXP @ 900Mhz

I removed the optical drive bay allowing an additional 120mm fan to be installed which also allows the HDD's to be moved in it's place creating better airflow from the 120mm fan next to the PSU that feeds the GPU, noticeably difference in temps from this set-up.

Silent HTPC gaming rig!

Looks good! Maybe I should do something similar, as the area behind my PSU get's pretty toasty :(

Although saying that, it'll be a bit of a bodge job, as i've got 2x 3TB drives and an SSD i'd have to re-home :P

I can't see that being a problem, I've got 2 x HDD's in there and a small SSD could be placed in a number of places.

I got in touch with Julian from jus-reviews and he was able to confirm that the iMon LCD software has got the "timer" function to allow a pre-programmed start-up, from full shutdown.

I've decided to buy this case so I guess I'll post back here with first hand feedback myself.

Smak how did you fair with the iMon LCD software? Are you running Win 7? Had any issues similar to OCdude?
