Hey guys,

I currently have two Nvme drives, a 500gb for OS and apps, and a 2tb Nvme for games and data, (mainly games)..

I have ordered a 2tb SSD drive to expand my storage, will two Nvme and a SATA SSD be ok together? Is there any configuration that will be needed??

Cheers.

I'd imagine the worst case scenario will be the SATA drive might need to be plugged into a particular motherboard SATA socket, to prevent conflict with the PCIe /M.2 side of things.

Yeah, I think your right. It should just depend on what SATA port used.

You can download your motherboard manual or read the physical copy, and it will most likely tell you everything you need to know in terms of sharing of the pci-e lanes etc. You basically want to know what happens if you populate with 2 x nvme drives. Sometimes it disabled a couple of the sata ports.

Yeah, downloaded the manual and have installed the new SSD, so far so good. :)
