Ok, what am i doing wrong?

Right, some people may know i have a Q6600 with an awful VID of 1.325v!!

Just got a TRUE 120 to cool it, and it won't even overclock to 3GHz. Tried up to 1.45v with +0.1 extra on the FSB and NB with the Ram in 1:1 (OCZ SLI 800Mhz).

Anybody any ideas?

Take the ram out of 1:1 ratio, if possible set the clock of the ram to 400mhz, worked for me

have you up the volatage on yoru ram also to what the manufacturer recoomends ?

looking at the specs on overclockers it likes 2.1-2.2v most boards default to 1.8v.
