OK whats wrong now

This is going to sound obvious... But have you plugged both power leads into the card?

I know someone who only supplied 1 power connector and he had similar issues that you are having.

Maybe you didn't have 1 problem but a few. Lets assume that driver one is fixed for now.

I notice that you are running a 64GB SSD that is nearly full. Maybe that is causing paging issues. Is it possible to clear an extra GB? Maybe run a benchmark on SSD and HDD(if you have games installed on it) to see that they are working correctly.

Yes you are correct I only have 1.94 gb available I think, however, this problem has been going on before the drive was that full. I will still give this a try though thanks for your help.

Do I need to use rivatuner can I not manually change it in CCC? I swear there is an option to O/C thecard in there and set fan levels etc. I am also worried that by doing that just to get the damn thing working I may fry it somehow and ruin my warrenty?

Ok I checked and both connectors were in place.

When I tried to turn my PC back on it wasn't posting. Checked everything was in place and it took 4 attempts to get it to post. When it did come back on it said the overclock had failed and then blue screened me. Turned on again no post a couple of times. When it posted again (only yellow lights on the mobo, no green??).

I set the overclock again and when I was happy it was running ok I tried Furmark again:

Max 38
Ave 27

Reinstalled drivers

Max 107
Ave 72

I could almost cry. I guess this will be away with Ocuk for another week. I think I may just be getting the refund this time. They obviously can't get this "Warlord" system working.

Sorry if that sounds petty and snappy but I really have had enough of this. I read so many bad reports about Ocuk before I bought this and I did buy here based on the great forum. To be fair I didn't read many bad reviews in terms of the service, just their ability to deliver what they promise. Whenn you speak to them they are fantastic. The engineer that built and done the RMA's on my system has been extremely helpful and has often helped me "off the clock".

All in all however the reviews seem to be true. This system has never run like it should. Originally it was overheatig horrendously and could not overclock at all without problems. To solve this I had to upgrade the case at my own expense.

I'm just waffling now sorry.... any other ideas folks? If I can't get this sorted it is definately going back

Yep just gonna do this now. I am totally fed up with this machine.

Like I say I hate to do this because the actual customer service I have recieved here has been second to none and I mean that genuinely. The engineer has been so helpful I was happy for so long despite all the problems!

Run 3dmark 06, you should get 18/19k/20k (depending on GPU overclock)

If you do, then it's fine

I don't claim to know a'lot about PC's and all that but would my furmark scores and the fact that all my games have issues alone not suggest that it is not fine? I can't even play Mirror's Edge on the lowest settings possible at 720 resolution

I've pretty much exhausted all options now, the card or your windows install sound pretty caned to me. If everything is verified as running at stock correctly via gpu-z, powerplay profiles are working fine, driver is installed fine and both opengl and directx performance are terrible then something is wrong.

About the only thing I can think of is doing a brand new fresh install of windows, which I guess would be more favourable than waiting for an RMA. It's your shout, I'm not a fan of calling it a day but I don't think there's much more you can do.

Yeah 3 pages of me whining is a bit much for anyone :)

Thanks for your advice though mate.

Haha just looked yeah very similiar rigs!!

I know how annoying it can be when a rig doesn't work out as planned! However it usually is my own fault...

Is it possible for you to try your card in a friends machine, or to try a different GPU in your own machine?

Sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with this.

Someone mentioned this earlier but I don't see a reply, did you check in GPUZ that the card is switching to the correct clock speeds when you launch a 3d app?

Also, I was wondering why your monitor is running at 30hz?

AHA...

Sorry I've been at Uni all morning. I di`d ask somewhere on here whether my screen had anything to do with it. As far as I could tell my screen was 60hz but some clever chap ( Wolvers69) has seen somewhere that it is at 30hz.

Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who's CPU I could test the card in as I'm new to my area. I could try it on the 42" plasma in my living room. Or would it not work well with a plasma??

Yep this is how I usually feel as I'm the first to admit to a poor my poor knowledge in this area.

I have tried a couple of the procedures as advised by some helpful people here and have been unsuccessful.

Starting to think it may be the screen although there are a couple of other methods described here that I am yet to try. I do have the rest of the afternoon free so will try some of these. I only didn't last night as I was restricted in time and did not want to venture into unknown areas on a deadline:)

Just wanted to thank everyone again for all your help and advice. Just as I begin to give up I can see light at the end of the tunnel again:)
